 Mar is the city that used to be called Darnation, but after a coup overthrew the mayor, the town was renamed. The town was also severely hurt when the Earthquake of 70' hit.
+This is a fairly large port town, that has turned into a city. With the main way of making money being exporting the natural resources of the island to the mainland, they have run into issues of the locals in Weto and Cradle trying to remove them from the island. That, coupled with a huge sense of entitlement, has led to a very fat, pompous mayor, who feels like he can get away with anything. Armed with a fortune of wealth, they will do almost anything they can to take the island for themselves. Legally, or by less than good means.
