Their founders, the Berns, are a group of air elementals - once highly trained mages specializing in electricity before the Magic Prohibition Act of 2548.

They have also expanded abroad into the Oxis, where they provide electricity to places such as Victoria, the capital city of [[settings:cahyali:shinneok|Shinneok]] and much of eastern [[settings:cahyali:arenti|Arenti]]. While they control the majority of Ley'Ork's energy, they are still only fairly minor abroad. It's rumored that B&B plans to also expand into the agricultural sector.
