If you wondered what response the Solarium was going to make to recent hirudo attacks you weren't alone. Many of our people ask themselves this question... some loud enough to be heard by the whole island. This week we saw the Solarium step forward to answer this question... to answer this challenge.On Dran, Leader Prem began speaking in the public square as was his habit from time to time. When someone from the crowd shouted to him about the Hirudo it became apparent that he came hoping to answer just that question. Never has Leader Prem been more charismatic or forceful.
He started by condemning the priests and followers of the goddess of evil. He stopped short of condemming Rudri herself but did make it clear that the other gods have condemmed her and that makes her fair game for us as well. She is to be reviled, not feared. Fear and darkness are her element. This city walks in the light!
Leader Prem then outlined a series of steps to isolate the rudrite elements in Centralia and stamp them out. Among these steps is a city wide census and asking the citezenry to swear and oath against darkness.
Lets face it. Our city is the best one on the island. Why are we being shaken down by the Solarium and made to swear oaths? If I was a hirudo I'd just hang out outside of town and sneak in to do my evil deeds. Hell, our city watch is pretty much a joke. The Assembly won't do anything about it because they "don't have the financial resources". The Enclave and the Solarium are both stretched to their limits. Something needs to be done! And harrassing our people is not the answer.
