Wild, uncontrollable magic still remains, but the nomads do not fear it: instead, they come near the ravines and lakes to charge their magical items and train their skills in the arcane.

+This region is said to have once been a vast stretch of savanna like the Ala'Ura, but after the Stormwing Calamity, it was completely destroyed by powerful magicks wielded by the dragons and Strygarii. Now, the north of Akhior is a group of massive craters, having become a wild and wonderful archipelago after ten thousand years of recovery.
+Many of the craters have waters that are not the typical color of the ocean: inside the waves and deep in the expanse, there are varied colors... from purple to silver to orange and beyond. The people living on the waves, sailing the archipelagos, ascribe magical meaning to each color and each bay. They meet in the trade city of Ilu'okun, whose ports are always bustling with seafaring vessels.
