 While gold coins are still utilized in town, especially when trading with outsiders, many of the townsfolk prefer bartering as a system of trading goods. The peoples' taxes are even paid in goods rather than in gold coins most of the time. While gold coins are still utilized in town, especially when trading with outsiders, many of the townsfolk prefer bartering as a system of trading goods.  +===== The Silvae Osirae =====
 +
 +The Silvae Osirae is a forested grove resting on a nearby island connected to the island of Leifsholm via the landbridge. The grove is teeming with hundreds of rare plants and animals. A few species of plant can only be found in this grove. The animals live a quiet life without disturbance. Legends say the water found in the grove can restore the lifeforce of those who drink from it. Unfortunately, only a select few are ever allowed into the grove. To be allowed in, you must fulfill one of three conditions. You must either be a descendant of Araboj, a priest of Osiris, or be invited in by someone who fulfills either of the previous conditions. Any who try to enter without the permission of a royal family member or an Osirite will be met with a blockade of massive poisonous thorns.

 +==== Minor Locations ====
 +
 +**The Wooden Palace** - The largest building in town, the Wooden Palace is the living place for the royalty of Liefsholm. There is a main central hallway with a dining table not far from the throne. A few adjacent rooms make up the kitchen and the bedrooms for the steward and the cook. This is the only palace staff. The remaining rooms are where the royal family resides. The entire building rests on a singular floor, though there is a small second floor with a balcony meant to oversee most of the village.
 +
 +**The Fungal Philter** - This very tiny shop is a small family business run by a series of Nomads. They sell potions of all kinds, though the most popular by far is the Raz-Beri Tonic. In both form and function, it is a small apothecary shop that sells its potions for cheap due to the materials usually being nearby. Any nomadic incant purchased here is half the price as usual, as well as anything created via Alchemy.
