Kari is a female red fox Kin who lives deep within the forest on the mainland. She serves as the "employer" for the Kin in general, although she acts under their noses, as they generally don't trust non-Kin individuals. She is a beginner mage, and while she wishes to keep her people safe, she fears direct confrontation with the Empire's forces.
