Gudbrand is the ruler of the divine realm of Asgard, the realm of the gods of universe 36-8-E. Eternally bound to his divine realm, he gazes upon the cosmos through the ever seeing Flame of Eternity, endowing his long dead eyes with omnipotent power. When the Flame was stolen from Asgard several millenia ago, he stretched out his power into the minds of several unique individuals scattered throughout time, providing them with pieces of the information required to return the flame to his realm.
