Adventurers needed to investigate mass disappearances of living creatures.
The no longer very newly connected to Jaern plane of Terrestia has put out another call for adventurers: within the southwest plains there has just been silence for the last two weeks, and officials are too concerned and scared to send out more local soldiers. Having most recently become adept at portal magic, new portals have slowly begun to be set up to facilitate transportation.
Our three adventurers set out on what seemed a simple reconnaissance mission, but they found a political problem deeper than expected. Aerodrakos have begun settling in the mountains as a storm grows. Cultists from far north have been spotted with undead spirits. Old rogues are out and about, not gone but intelligently hiding. Words were had, things were thought, threats were made, and an 'agreement' was made between the drakos and the adventurers to pin the blame on the northern cultists. True to their word, this was the story they brought back to the government, who have begun making plans based on this new information.
