Adventurers needed to acquire a mysterious item.
Plot Synopsis
The adventurers were asked to meet in a tavern. As they showed up various interesting items were purchased for consumption, including an entire cow by Carl and the taverns specialty alcohol. Fionna uses a pit lord detector on various people and comes to believe Carl is one. Upon meeting with the man who was hiring them, they are told to get a catalog from his ex-wife (staying with her mother) but to not open it. They set off and enter a forest. Carl eats a caramel hamster causing the trees to shudder. In the forest two slugs appear, distracting the party long enough for panthers to arrive. They battle three panthers, killing two and trapping one. At the women's house they get the mother drunk and buy the book back. Instead of paying, Carl earthbones the ex-wife. They return back coming across one more slug which Fionna body destroys believing it to be a pit lord. Upon returning they get their pay (Fionna's was reduced for reading/opening the very detailed catalog of sex toys). Carl sells the "statue" of their employer's ex-wife to him and revokes the spell on her as they leave causing a fight between the two resulting in the destroyed catalog.
