People needed to eliminate a menace. Meet at the Temple of Isis by noon.

Plot Synopsis

Most of the players arrive early, mostly to harass the people nearby. Samus proceeds to wake people up early in the morning, and then give the other adventures hugs as they go in for the meeting. Paul and D'leyna arrive early enough to be able to avoid this.

Once noon rolls around Matthew and a sailor show up. Matthew looks as though he has spent want to much time in the water. He informs them that he and his family were traveling when their ship was attacked 6 days off Lojem. He thinks they may still be alive. The Sailor has also had several of his ships attacked in that general area, with no known survivors. Matthew's wife had on a necklace that could be used to track down where the attackers have taken it. Using the information given and many casting of the find spell, they are able to get a better idea of where the attackers are, and that they are on the move.

Samus scouts ahead when they are still a day out. He finds a boat that is anchored near a small island. He investigates the boat and finds sailors, a bunch of empty crates, and an older guy in robes. Investigating the island he finds a cave the reeks of captivation among other things. He goes back to find the ship, realizing that the ship has moved it takes quite some time to find it again. By the time Samus arrives they have approached the island, it is stormy and the other ship has moved off the island. As they approach all the lights on the other ship go out. Samus goes back to investigate and finds a different guy in robes on the ship. The ship then precedes to leave and Samus stenches it, over and over. One unfortunate sailor feels the need to jump over board and does. He is picked up by Burnhard and questioned. As the people on the other ship recover the adventurers try to determine if this is the ship that has been doing the attacking in the area. At this point a fireball goes off on the adventurers ship killing #72 and injuring all that are on deck. A fireball then goes off the enemy ship. The guy in robes jumps overboard and tries to swim away. He, and his crew are captured. Then proceed to the island, to investigate the caves.

In the caves the find a variety of people, or parts that use to belong to people. They also find some people that are still alive, but probably shouldn't be. This looks to be the doing of some kind of religious cult, or just a group of really sick people. They also find some tunnels that lead to them being shot through kill slits.

After several minor combats two other people in robes are knocked out and captured. They then proceed to free the captives and take them to the temple of Zeferin. The guys in robes and the sailors are dropped off at the barracks of T'or (spit up equally among the two factions)
