Adventurers wanted! Safety not guaranteed! Meet Tod at the Devil's Den!

Plot Synopsis

Meeting Tod, a surprisingly impatient "businessman", the party agreed to clear out a fighting pit (lost weeks earlier) without looting it. As they approached the site of the pit, they passed several towns, each filled with folk more and more worried for the party as the journey continued. The last town they passed through, the party paused to ask why and were told of the many adventurers that took the same path and never returned as well as the last group to come from that direction. Berwyn, having been in said party, suddenly recognized their destination and warned the rest of the kraglings.

When the party arrived at the fighting pit, they indeed found the kraglings laying down in front, as well as an undead war beetle. Altair went to work sniping them all from over a met away, however.

After noting a lack of movement, the party ventured forward to confirm the pit was cleared. What they found, however, was that the undead war beetle was filled with Fallen. The ensuing combat resulted in the entire party, save Altair, being spawned.

As the party did research on what they encountered, they found a plethora of information leading them to the Acre, where Thetgui pressed the three fallen adventurers for information on their hive mind before warning them to never return.

In the following days, Berwyn went to the Isis temple to be revived, thus losing his connection to the hive mind.
