Adventurers wanted to acquire a specific horse.
Plot Synopsis
Eve gathered the party at "some random bar", and explained that she was hiring adventurers to help her obtain the horse of death by doing a favor for a goddess. The favor being to dispatch a demigod that had broken free of his prison during the apocalypse. The party traveled to the correct plane and set out for thieves landing. There they learned that there was a library in New Elizabeth that may have information on the demigod. They headed back to NE visited the library and found some information on the demigod. While asking around town they heard rumors that there were strangely no cougars in the area and there has been a mysterious hooker death in Mexico. Heading down to Mexico they visited the brothel where the hooker died and found that a well dressed handsome man had conversed with her for several hours, asking all sorts of questions and also drinking half the bar and gambling. He was seen going upstairs with her and the next morning she was found in her room having died of exhaustion. Tracking the man down they found a temple hidden behind an illusionary wall and investigated it. They eventually found a way into the demigods plane and started to talk with him. Cal was distracted by two female were-cougars. The demigod gave them a counter offer if they would obtain something of the goddess's he could use to trap her in the prison he had been trapped in. The adventurers accepted and then went off plane to discuss who they would betray (except for Cal who was occupied). They contacted the goddess and told her of the demigods counter offer and that he had given then a stone to fool her with. At this point Cal still at the demigods temple is turned into a female bunny. She took it and noted it contained not the demigods power as they had been told but the soul of nun the goddess was fond of. During the conversation Dante snatched one of her hairs. The adventurers went back to the demigod after again discussing who to betray. They reluctantly hand over the hair and the goddess is trapped. Pay is given out.
