Adventures needed to help with a "negotiation." Meeting at Gill's Adventuring Academy at noon.
The adventurers are asked to go to an ally world of the Hegemony and convince them to instead ally with Jaern. The use of threats and fear are acceptable methods to convince them. The adventurers are given various charged items, equipment, and nomad incants in order to create the illusion that they are much more powerful then they really are.
The end up near the capitol of the world and quickly gain an audience with the leader, but he isn't convinced that changing alliances is in the best interest of the world. After some very obvious threats and promises, the leader is convinced that this switch my be in his best interest. Prior to the adventurers leave, the leader is given notice that Jaernians have entered the city and that Hegemony guards have occupied the city until the threat is removed.
The adventurers decide on the direct approach in simply engage the Hegemony at on of the city gates and take them out. They then go back to the portal to find more guards with they also take out with some of their charged fireball items.
They then report back about the alliance and give them a list of things they were promised. They are allowed to keep all of the equipment and charged items (along with the terisium) that were given to them at the beginning of the mission.
