Adventurers wanted to eliminate a dangerous research facility off plane
Plot Synopsis
The adventurers were hired by a proxy who took them to the real employer off plane. There was a portal in the former portal farm that was registered to this world. After meeting the real employer the party learned that they were to go to a research facility which do to political reasons could not be taken care of openly. The adventures learned that the research itself was the danger that it was a military super soldier program. they went to the facility and got into a fight with the guards on the way in which put the facility on lock down. It was around this time that the rest of the party learned that Faith and Dante were not normal anymore. Faith and Dante were discovered to be Afflicted which is a curse that is very complicated but the core of it is that they are constantly inflicted with rage and when given into it it will change their bodies to become more powerful in several ways. The rest of the party discovers that the research facility is studying the Afflicted and Dante and Faith have motives to protect the facility instead of destroy it. After a lot inter-party conflict the adventurers are sent back to jarn empty handed. The portal was revoked not long after the adventurers got back.
