Plot Synopsis
Hovaaru woke up as he was given a shock collar and then the rest of the beavers finally arrived at the top of Great Wolf Lodge. Happi casts a strength barrier and manages to stave off the wave of 200 beavers for a short while. The party continues to fight off the beavers but more and more beavers continue to flood in. Kallax calls down a storm of lighting taking out a large portion of beavers, and Cosmos absolutely obliterates a group of beavers with powerful lighting. As the beavers were getting intimidated by Cosmos, they fused into one giant beaver and swung a giant club hitting all of party. Hovaaru proceeded to tell Kallax to drop the shock collar or die, and he chose death. Hovaaru then asked the party if they truly wanted to continue the combat and Ronnie tried to convince them to stay and devote their lives to the cause. After a little more fighting, Ronnie put the giant beaver to sleep and told the party they weren’t as capable as he thought. Happi dropped the strength barrier and began to slide down the ramp, but Hovaaru caught up to him and killed him, then surfed his corpse the rest of the way down the ramp and disappeared. The rest of the party gathered Kallax’s body and made their way down to see a conspicuous lack of beavers and a conspicuous presence of vine. “The vine reminds me of the US Government” -Erinacious. The vine offers to use some of its energy to resurrect both Happi and Kallax, the rest of the party agrees to let this happen. The vine slithers into the bodies of Happi and Kallax and replaces their cerebrospinal fluid, bringing them back to life. Kallax comes back visibly shaken, and Happi comes back after visiting the Zepherin divine plane. The party then comes clean to Kallax and Happi about the nature of how they got resurrected. Happi can’t go to sleep after what he has experienced, scared of possibly dying in his sleep. The remainder of party takes a rest.
