Plot Synopsis

Across Jaern and Cayahli, six adventurers received an invitation to the Library. An offer for knowledge and wisdom beyond measure preserved within its shelves, if they would only wager their lives and overcome a ordeal. Upon signing their invitations, they were all collectively transported to the foot of the Library. There they were escorted in by Angela, director of the Library, expressing her surprise at their unauthorized entry into the City. The party engaged in a series of protracted battles against its Librarians, who wielded strange and abnormal magic, across the Library's countless floors. Though empowered by a mysterious light that emboldened their determination to survive, little by little the party was worn down by the endless onslaught, finally falling to a enrapturing performance by a silent orchestra and becoming books themselves. Somewhere else in the Library, Angela and a suited man discussed the reception, commending the adventurers for their bravery, but re-affirming Angela's goal to discover the "one true book". An unknown period of time later, the adventurers awoke back where they belonged, left with only a faint memory and the invitation of the ordeal they have faced.
