Plot Synopsis
Through a widespread network of adventuring circles, there is always a juicy rumor to chase. Eight of these, some fresh to the scene, others very much veteran. After finding one another in the state of Glanskoon, Ley'ork in a village called Dead Boar Lagoon, in a tavern called the Ivory Keg, they search the town for information regarding this map and hear word of a fellow named Frankfort, a highly skilled mage that is part of the Hubba family. A mafia family centered in Glanskoon with eyes and ears everywhere. Haru met a bear beasthide man named Maximort, who later rounded up some groupies to attack them during a deal arranged by NPC with a dwarvish woman named Wendrika. Wyren and Mana learned that Frankfort is a mage with many traps about and that he has an alchemist bodyguard named Chadford with a third associate somewhere around, that turned out to be Wendrika. Heartbroken by her sense of duty to defend Frankfort's map, Wendrika and the Hubba children engage with the party, calling on Frankfort and Chadford for support. Concluding right before combat begins.
