Plot Synopsis
The party departs their inn and boards an airship docked at Abydos. Aboard the ship, they are informed of their good work and are allowed to name their party. Due to things happening to the former Group captain, the party's old party captain is promoted and a new party captain is selected. After some time, Luigi is randomly selected as the new party captain. The party is then informed of two parties to look out for: the party of Crystal in the Sands, who stole something from the pirates' main base in Leviathan, and the party of Dunic Enigma, who may be able to help with decoding or solving the vault item the party acquired in the previous session.
The party is informed of the location of the Dunic Enigma party, departs with a smaller ship attached to the one on which they came. They then land very roughly on top of the cave in which they are currently located. The party then talks a bit with their hirer outside the cave until the Dunic Enigma party exits the cave and begins to discuss things with this party. Throughout negotiations, multiple pirates are seen falling from the sky, where there are two ships circling overhead. After some negotiating, the Dunic Enigma party is knocked out and brought aboard the small ship they came in. Aboard the ship, they are awoken and more negotiations take place. At roughly this time, one of the two ships that were circling very high overhead begins to fall. The party decides to fly their ship upwards to try to avoid the falling ship as negotiations continue to take place.
After a while has passed, both ships ultimately land stabilize and land safely, and the party of Crystal in the Sands emerges from the ships.
At the end of the session, the final results were: Balasar and Rat leave to join the Crystal in the Sands party, and two party members of Crystal in the Sands join this party. Negotiations are successful, but the party unfortunately negotiated with a fake note forged by one of the party members of Dunic Enigma. The group captain was likely killed in action on the airship above, and the party is currently free from the shackles of pirates.
