After the death of their ward, the party of misfits are given one last chance to prove themselves by protecting the ceremonial bowl that acts as the key to the nearby vault.
Plot Synopsis
The next morning, the Death Guard and police start to investigate Male’s death. They question the adventurers, who manage to weasel their way out of jail by agreeing to guard the ceremonial bowl that the Halsain threatened. They arrive to the museum and take up posts, but Malius finds an odd figure with him in the Anubian area of the museum. That figure attacks him just as the bowl gets stolen, and the party engages in combat with a Halsain assassin left behind to make sure they can’t follow the bowl. After intense fighting, the assassin retreats after being badly injured, and the party is told to get out of town or help track down and stop the Halsain.
