The Day Has Come! The Night Is Passing! Silmarillion Game - Verse 12: Grand Finale
Plot Synopsis
Challenging Morgoth to combat, the party burst into his throne room, where they battled through his statues animated by corrupt spirits which they destroyed quickly, before having to put more focus on dealing with Morgoth’s unique tactics which relied on timing and postioning. Luckily they had experience countering them from Lungorthin and Gothmog so they were able to make sure his timing and positioning based spells did not go off to full effect, while Fingolfin magically duelled him to weaken him via calling upon the power of the Silmarils. Morgoth was then slain by Glorfinmandur, the Silmarils were claimed and Fëanor relinquished his Oath and gave them to be used to make Middle Earth and Valinor into a paradise, and the party returned home after their victory feast, with Illúvatar informing them that they would now have contact with Middle Earth for future adventures.
