Plot Synopsis
The Elves split up, with sections of the army heading off to assault each section of Angband at once to clear it from all of Morgoth’s evil creatures. High King Fingolfin himself led the section with the party straight into the innermost sanctum. They were confronted by Balrog lords like Lungorthin and Gothmog, who they completely slew and came upon the doors to Morgoth’s throne room itself.
