Plot Synopsis
SESSION SUMMARY
The final session of the Voyage of the Cerberus campaign
Session opens where S11 ended, party pretends to consider Kua Fu's offer to stall for time. They devise a plan to pretend to take the offer to gain prep time before staging an all out assault. The party is escorted by guards to the lifeboats before turning on them and killing them. Nakai jumps in the water and with the help of his crab and kraken get to work sinking the boat. He destroys a propeller and punctures the hull before leaving the kraken to strangle the ship. The party starts their assault and a short but brutal fight breaks out and party stood victorious. Kua Fu was body destroyed on the scene, and Wu Rong was restrained and taken prisoner. Just as the battle ended the kraken finished weaking the hull and the ship snapped in half, beginning to sink. Nakai had the kraken swim over and pick up party and bring them to shore in Perringham. They make it before the bombs detonate underwater causing large waves. The Fortune detonates out at sea where it was left causing a mushroom cloud to loom over the city.
POST GAME EVENTS
Aside from minor damages from the waves, and the Onyx Serpents killed by party, there was minimal casualties. The OS attack failed. What they promised to be a bold move that reclaimed Ruefang's lost honor blew up in their face with one of their major ring leaders dead. War profiteers and investors pulled out and the common supporters lost faith in their ability to lead competently. Overall they were exposed for being hypocrites who used the name of Ruefang honor to gain power through manipulation. The OS were reduced to their humble origins as a street gang. Shinneok demanded accountability for the OS's rise to power delivering an ultimatum of Ruefang using military power to eliminate the remaining gang or be invaded by Shinneok as they do it themselves. Ruefang siding entirely with Shinneok gladly took the former and began to systematically eradicate the OS save for a few strongholds. The final fate of the OS will be decided by a future mini campaign (or just assume it is resolved in the background if I forget)
