Plot Synopsis
Party opens in the boiler room in a standoff with unidentified soldiers. Party tries to get some information out of them but combat ensues. After, party some way or another finds their way to the bridge where they find out the leader of the attack is Kua Fu, or as the party knows him, Captain Bamford of the Caishen. The party talks him into monologuing about his secret plans which he gives up willingly. He claims that Shinneok and Ruefang were seeking further diplomatic relations after the great war concluded. Such a relationship was built on the unjustified blood of his brethren, and so as a move to isolate Ruefang from the outside and to build morale for the cause, he would drive the Caishen which has the payload of an atomic bomb into the harbor and detonate it. He offers the party a chance to get on a life boat and leave and party does not take long to decline. Gongous sees an imprisoned Maxim and frees him. The guards ready their weapons as session comes to a close.
