Plot Synopsis
Party drank Kanish's brew and appeared outside an Empanian temple in a partial dreamstate. After introducing themselves, they found out that they were there to challenge a champion of Empani, the challenge chosen by said champion. Walking inside, they meet the champion, a future, more realized version of Gongous, who some of them know well. They played a series of games to get into the spirit of mental challenges, and then Gongous challenged them to a game of materialization shiritori. After much back and forth, the party managed to put a lot of distance between themselves and Gongous, and won the game. After this, Kanish, Gongous, and the party went into a side room, where Kalia was being kept. Gongous chanted to Empani, and with their blessings, Kalia was fully restored, and no longer braindead. To thank them for this, Kalia awkwardly took them to her library, The World Tree, and gave them library cards, before promptly kicking them out, and returned them to where they were if they wished.
