Enter the Darklands; Session 10 - The End of Days [Darklands, GM Plane]

Plot Synopsis

The party fled back to the airship, flying away as reality began to tear itself apart. The physical became metaphysical and the metaphysical became physical. Holes in reality began to appear, golden chains shooting through them, boulders of earth flying everywhere as all was slowly sucked into a black hole. The party noticed the world around them atomized as it resisted, leading to them charging directly into the black hole in a last ditch escape attempt. They ended up in the Dusphara, Rudri's divine plane. Rudri had a chat with them, gifting them a few items as a host and having a nice talk where she explained parts of the universe's workings. When they were ready to return home, they woke up in their beds, separated. Eventually, the people they saved visited Cairja, explaining they were saved but separated. Through a long series of investigations, the party tracked down everyone they'd saved. It turns out the people all had dual existences, as though the world that was destroyed was a dream in the lives of their Jaernian and Cahyalan counterparts. Badigadi split them into separate parts so they could live both lives. The people who survived eventually moved to live in the town surrounding Cairja's tower, making a new town. A new home.
