Plot Synopsis
The party treks through the storm, and is subjected to a shifting maze of clearings around the storm, after discovering a buried snowmobile, the party figures out how to escape the maze, and arrives at the research base. At the base, the party finds Tom, a tired researcher, and questions his lapses in memory. Luin reads the mind of Tom, and begins to act strangely. The rest of the party splits up across the base, and discovers a few other people. First, they find Serge locked in the break room, and the party convinces him to meet them in the basement (the party does not know how he got into the basement). The party also meets Jimmy at the second floor, and they convince Jimmy to stop trying to break into the second-floor storeroom by convincing Rodger in the garage to give Jimmy some toilet paper. The party opens the door to the specimen room, and only slightly investigates the object. The party heads out to the transmitter tower, and talks to Alexis and Zhanna about what is going on. Timothy asks many questions with augury and weal and woe.
