Plot Synopsis

The session started with the party recovering from battle, the mysterious man still had a knife and seemed to be getting worse despite no external bleeding. Some quick diagnostics helped determine that the knife had been poisoned, allowing for it to be removed via spell. With that as well as Nakai ripping the knife out of his chest, the man was back up on his feet once more. He explained that he was the inventor of the bomb, and wanted the protection of the Executive, in exchange he offered everything he knew about the explosion, along with the blueprints for the bomb. He explained that his name is Liu Donghai, and that he was onboard the Cerberus heading towards a conference where he would unveil his Fire Excavator which would allow for a safer way to mine jinghua by drawing energy from the leylines themselves.
After dropping off Donghai with the executive, the party split three ways. Nakai and Akale went to the two remaining boiler rooms to speak with the workers and place surveillance, Sauri and Bulbul went to an Anubian temple to look for Donghai's husband who is the most likely leaker of the bombs, and the other three went to track down the mysterious man they say at the radio tower. After an hour of waiting they found him, and after a hostile standoff, they got the temple party to find Lidia Brauss to clear his story. He claimed to be Conrad Brauss, Lidia's father who was sent to investigate the same activity that the party had, someone that Lidia knew she could trust. The party realized just how deep the corruption went on the ship, and that they should not trust Donghai out of their sight. Session ended with the party split two ways, the five with Lidia and Conrad, and Nakai and Akale sprinting back to the bridge to make sure Donghai is alright.
