Plot Synopsis

After the hydraulic press came down, the party members who would've been crushed appeared on top of the press. Party roleplays while healing to Bard's magic after a grueling fight with St. Val. Stan goes with Pronto to search the house for the loafs, but Pronto instead finds a secret compartment with various magic items. After a while, they begin to hear the unpleasant moaning of some undead coming their way. Bard harmonizes with the undead until they realized they were in no shape for another encounter as they followed Pronto onward towards the laboratory. Not too long afterwards, Nyx attempted to stab Pronto, claiming it was because a demon made her do it. Pronto proceeded to vaporize her on the spot with a clean swing with his sword. Following some uneasiness between the guide and his party, they found themselves nearing the laboratory. Before they approached, they found a small alcove where they proceeded to rest. Kyroshi casted Gift of Warning, which woke them up when they were graced with the presence of an unknown being. This 19' tall humanoid introduced himself as Dr. Vortex, the head of Laboratory. He invited party to take a tour of the laboratory and led them to the back towards a decontamination area where they put on safety equipment to protect them as they explored a lake of Moonshadow Draught. The lake produced toxic fumes and had gay piranhas and lesbian electric eels swimming within. Kyroshi touched an iron sword to the surface and corrupting liquid began to crawl up the weapon. The hazmat suit he was wearing protected him, but his weapon became mildly corrupted. They then began to head inside for a tour of the interior of the Laboratory.
