The Largest Giant
Plot Synopsis
The four adventurers wake up from their sleep atop a giant wall separating a human settlement from a much larger forest. There are two giants arguing, the party approaches them and finds out that the two brothers, Skewel and Chore had a middle sibling that went beyond the wall to reclaim an heirloom that was lost not long ago. The giants seem to be confused by height, relating the party's strength to how tall they are, calling them taller and therefore capable of traveling beyond the wall. The party took off, tracking the middle sibling, Mal. They were attacked by a giant bird that was taken down with little fight. The party finally came upon the lair of a fully fledged Onyx dragon by the name of Vindreo, "The Lord of Darkness" who despite the name seemed quite gentle natured and traded the heirloom for knowledge. Gongous gave up a cookbook of Jaernian cuisine as well as a scroll of communication which greatly satisfied Vindreo. Maeve similarly gave an orb of communication, Ebony Dark'ness Dementia Raven Way and Lucas also give some form of communication (maybe for magic item, specifics tbd). The party returns to the village with Mal and the heirloom in tow. After a heartwarming reunion the giants realize that they can return to their village now that they have recovered their lost relic and they do so. After a standoff the giants let them in, and upon hearing their tale of their fight and subsequent deal for mutual protection, the giants praised Mal and the others for their courage. The last thing the party heard before waking up was "Long live Mini Mal, the Largest Giant".
