Plot Synopsis
A massive crowd of people is drawn to the town of Hope's Harbor in Shinneok by a somewhat inexplicable sense of desire. Of this crowd, a small group of adventurers make it to the office of Tasha York, the town's mayor, who fills them in on the fact that the drive that's been bringing people here has been caused by sirens that live on a nearby island and has resulted in several deaths. After giving the adventurers access to the information she had on hand, Tasha brings them down to the docks. On the way, Palamedes and Brian both catch glimpses of what seem to be figures from their respective pasts, though the visions quickly pass. At the docks, Tasha introduces the party to Bill, whose deafness means he cannot hear the sirens' song and is therefore relatively safe. Bill takes the adventurers onto his boat, and they begin their journey to the sirens' island.
