Echoes of the Null-Blood Waters S5-6

Plot Synopsis

Party got back together and began working their way towards the laboratory. On their way, the encountered a Ghost Storm, and some of the party members were compelled to speak the name of someone deceased that they knew. The ghosts seemed to follow them and observe, but party decided to move past them and ignore the ghosts for the most part. They ventured on and found a completely normal house. Nyx with a bowler hat was standing on the front porch talking with someone inside. Eventually, party was greeted by a tall figure who introduce themself as St. Val. Reese cast Detect Divine and saw that this was not in fact a divine entity. Rather, it was some sort of aspect of an Eldritch entity. St. Val offered them hospitality and a meal to soothe some of their aches and pains. Some of party was afraid of the house and didn't want to go inside, so they decided to have a picnic outside instead. After the wonderous meal, St. Val asked them to stay for a while. Party declined the offer because they were close to the laboratory. St. Val refused for them to leave, so they fought and defeated St. Val. With St. Val's dying breaths, they raised their hand to the sky, and a large hydraulic press began to drop towards party. Most of them were able to get out of the way, but Igniti and Nyx were unable to make it out. Instead, they were saved by Eldritch entities who gave them powers while they are in the Null Labyrinth.
