Plot Synopsis
After retrieving Navi, Link took the party to the Temple of Time, where they traveled 7 years into the future to save Hyrule after it had been conquered by Ganondorf. They confronted him on his organ, where Carthage challenged him to a music battle. After Ganondorf was slain, the tower collapsed and Princess Zelda was freed. From beneath the rubble, Ganondorf cried out for a witch that broke her vow to help him control a power darker than his own. He transformed into a larger, darker beast and disarmed Link of the Master sword before beginning round 2.
