Plot Synopsis
The session opened up with combat. After a couple rounds the enemies turned invisible and one set up an assassination on the unsuspecting Motya, stealing her soul and escaping during the fighting a mysterious stranger appeared on the battlefield appearing to aid the party. After a dozen minutes past with the party confused the Executive arrives and briefly mourns Motya's demise before ordering the party to hunt down the killer to retrieve the stolen soul and revive Motya. The party made some progress but the killer had too much time, being able to slip away. The executive informed the party that the stranger was an adventurer whos party died in the initial attack and so he would be joining the investigative unit. The stranger introduced himself as Maxim which sparked drama among the party memebers over his role in Gongous' brother's backstory as well as interaction with another players character. The party then spent time picking out the best possible nickname for their group before session came to a close.
