Plot Synopsis

The Adventures went to a Port Mweran temple of Anubis and where greeted by very old priest, the most high ranking in the temple seeing that he is closest to death, he lead them inside the temple. The party waited for a while in a waiting room which attempts to simulate the feeling of the eternal wait in the Infero, got to hang out with a ton of dogs who stay at the shelter in the temple, and then filled out all the paperwork for the ritual to happen. They where measured for custom coffins and those where set up for them in case things went terribly wrong. The ritual had the souls of the adventures "follow" the soul of a dying bird to the afterlife, bonding the souls and spirits together to try and fling them up to the Infero where they would be met by more anubians. It was unsuccessful and the birds soul fell back down along with the rest of the, while it caught a couple animal souls and a human soul while falling, when landing in the birds body, it shifted the bird into a Chimera which the party then fought. After defeating it they preserved its life and Omar released the animal souls back to Osiris, leaving the human soul, that human soul made the birds body shift into what essentially was a Avian, and the very confused man was helped up by the party and lead away, confused why he had previously died, yet was alive, his name was lantern. The Anubian who preformed the ritual likely will face demotion due to removing a soul from the eternal afterlife.
