Plot Synopsis
After dealing with the Neptunians who staged the ambush, the party questions the civilians captured about whether they had eaten the fish tacos or not. After realizing that most of them had eaten them, they ultimately let them leave, telling them they will die within a couple days, and urging them to visit temples to cure the supposed poison they had ingested. Once the party leaves the government building, they see the guard captain outside, with a few Neptunian volunteers, who had come to arrest the party for various crimes. Atirathi then compiles a very long list of crimes the party had committed, choosing to add to his sentence. Tempest attempts to fly away and escape, at which point the guards attempt to prevent this and begin combat. During combat, the Neptunians stab several guards, transforming them into abysslings. Party ultimately defeats the Neptunians and abysslings, gaining the cooperation of the guards.
Borelock Polmes arrives on the scene and discovers the address of the Neptunians' hideout. At the hideout, they discover that the leader/champion of this group of abysslings is likely to arrive on the surface the following day in the sewers. Party decides to rest the night and intercept the abyssling leader/champion in the sewers the following morning.
