Whispers of the Deep V (Foe'vadi, Jearn)

Plot Synopsis

Party sets out to revive Nemu from a local Isisite temple. After arriving parties wounds are healed and Nemu is quickly revived. The eldest and most revered of the Isisites at the temple gratefully accepts parties offer of a donation and informs party the average donation is 5000 gold. After arguing for several minutes and threatening the isisite, Atirathi finally donates 500 gold. The isisite they were dealing with was known for being aggressive towards gaining donations.

At this point the guard captain, along with several guards entered the isisite temple and demanded that party turns over their prisoners and accuses party of committing several crimes. After much discussion party begins to attempt to torture the prisoners for information as the guards watch, all inside the isisite temple before party realizes what they were about to do and leaves the temple. They now attempt bribery and much less violent methods of interogation as the guards watch in an alley next to the temple. They were able to make a several page contract with one of the assassins for the location of their hideout and details on the hirer before the contract was rendered null by Atirathi not wearing a hat, one of the hidden contract details.

Party hands over the prisoners, not before one of the prisoners teleports away. They continue on to the assassins headquarters, finding it hidden in plain sight: a large grouping of chicken coops on top of a building. They quickly move in and secure the place, finding that several named chickens have been taken by the assassin that teleported away. They find the assassins have been making a profit off of selling chicken eggs as a side hustle. Party then gets their expert magic items (only 4 people have responded so far :/ )

Party then went into the sewers again and found a large room covered in bloom. They went through and found a collapsed passageway the bloom came from. They began burning the room and teleported onto the other side of the passageway. They fell into water, seeing large amounts of bloom and dozens of abysslings sitting underwater. Quickly teleporting back, Atirathi begins devising plans to get through the blockage before the room began shaking, a new cave in beginning to form. After half an hour of deliberating, they decide to move away slightly. After several more threats and shakes, party begins devising ways through the blockade again before session ends.
