Plot Synopsis
The party arrives in Death's Knell Port, realizing they lacked specific instructions on where to acquire the salt, but through asking they're able to find out that it's likely stored in the Warehouse district. In order to fill his Dominum Sanguinus, Trahan and other party members convince random passerby to donate blood. Trahan also finds a strange man called Salt Sam, who says he can lead them to the salt in the warehouses in exchange for them paying for a night in the inn. In the meantime, Akale offers healing to dockworkers who report feeling unwell and Samuel goes invisible to find out which warehouse the salt is in, also packing 100 grenades in random crates nearby. The following day Sam leads the party down into the sewers and through underground tunnels to a hidden grate inside the warehouse. Upon exiting, Charles notices a strange looking rat in the corner, which he shoots, and Trahan is able to tell from its blood that it's Abyssling infected. He then analyzes the blood in his Dominum Sanguinus, and discovers that about 40% of the blood he got from the people of the town was Abyssling infected. The party is then attacked by infected dockworkers and labor automatons controlled by them, but are able to defeat them and use the automatons to transport the salt to Peter's ship, before fleeing, with Samuel remotely detonating the grenades with the help of Cassius as they go.
