Plot Synopsis
The party meets up at the Geleian Tollway. They are instructed by the assistant conductor (Luigi) about their jobs, then help various passengers with tasks before realizing that the conductor has been killed. They split up following a strange goo and interviewing staff and passengers. Some of the party is informed by a professor (Smartticus Maximus) about a possible abyssaling on the loose and tries to hunt it down. Some of the party investigate the staff of the train for a possible killer, before having Uriel contact A’tena, who guides them back to the rest of the party. As they regroup, they deduce that the conductor was infected by his pet octopus and he killed himself in the process, as well as the octopus is somewhere in the zoo section of the train. Additionally, the party discovers the effectiveness of salt on the abysslings and informs the chef (Martha) to feed the train salt based dishes.
The party fights an elephant and octopus abyssling and successfully kill them. The train is saved and landed by Luigi (assistant conductor). The party was paid for their job and departed.
Faelbn tried to memory theft the abyssling and experienced eldritch horrors, but saw the path of the abyssling prior to the fight.
