Diamonds Never Die IX (Ley'Ork)

Plot Synopsis

As session begins, Volke holds a brief remembrance for V Horse, who tragically perished after Rilo forgot to feed him. Volke attempts to DI to Osiris in order to bring V Horse back to life, but he is smited and a tree performs a combo on him and suplexes him. In response, Volke calls Charles Lithicore, asking him to destroy the forest. Recovering from this, party makes their way through the jungle past a number of guards before reaching a hidden bunker. Cyrus "disables" the camera outside by duct-taping a frog to it, leading to the guard on cams to quit smoking weed. Party makes their way inside to be greeted by a series of dingy rooms and the voice of a man who calls himself Jigsaw. Jigsaw tells party he was hired last minute to plan a series of traps for them, which end up having very little success, and earn him ridicule by the party and Charles Lithicore. Just as Jigsaw is about to simply deathmist everyone, he is knocked out by Wei, who managed to escape and helps guide party through the base.

Party reaches the Watcher, who tells them Nefarious has lost his mind and that if they confront him he may do something drastic. Believing he can stop Nefarious as long as the party stays away, Watcher fights them, but is eventually convinced to stop by Raiden and the others. Following this, the party discusses Brian's amnesia and clearly repressed trauma, and prepares for the final battle.

Noteworthy Postgame Events
