Diamonds Never Die II (Ley'Ork)

Plot Synopsis

Session begins with initiative, as the party enters combat with the crime lords. Through an eclectic battle, most of the bosses were killed, though some were captured and sent back to the Zanzibar. Volke takes a shot at Watcher as he flies away, wounding him and forcing him to ground, though the party doesn't pursue. Time was spent debating what to do next, as Cyrus cleaned up the room and Volke read through some of the documents in the room not destroyed in the fight. He discovers the artifact is being held at a chemical plant, and will be transferred to a ship in two days. Raiden calls Wei to get more information on where Watcher could have landed. After calling Sadie, Volke learns that there's only one chemical plant in the city, called Chemical Plant.

Hearing guards start to make their way up the building, Volke calls Fantas to pick them up as Icarian blocks the door with thorns. Those with Cushion jump out the window while those without hitch a ride in bags of holding, falling into the car to make their escape. Fantas takes them back to his house, where everyone but Volke and Icarion decide to go scout out the Chemical Plant. Along the way Raiden swings by where Watcher landed, retrieving a wristwatch and a blood sample.

Hiding on the outskirts of the Chemical Plant, the party notices the place appears entirely functional and strangely lacks any waste pipes leading to the sea, and they watch as workers and product enter and leave until the workday is over. A bit later Watcher arrives and enters, and party decides to head inside. Raiden carries everyone in his bag and makes it up to the roof, where they peek inside one of the factory buildings before heading by roof over to the unloading bay in the back of the facility. They notice that there are empty waste containers, confirming that there's waste to move, and Cyrus sprints through the facility invisibly to grab some uniforms and hazmat suits. Party hops the fence and doubles back, heading back to Fantas's house to get some rest as session ends.
