Fate of Chains: Rozmakhigrad IX [Pthora, Cahyali]

Plot Synopsis

Party, after dealing with the fiery bird killing people and taking a break for a few weeks, decides to head out and investigate Rozmakhigrad in preparation of the upcoming invasion. Party plans to set and goes and meets with a neighboring Johtalit tribe for a sled house pulled by bears.

They set out into the wastes, aiming for a few day journey and run into some animals out in the waste.They quickly avoid any fights and continue on, eventually running into a ice drake. They pass without a fight after avoiding it. Finally, out in the cold they run across a blizzard before being hit by a falling ice drake. They are quickly caught in the crossfire between these two drakes, before, party did not intervene and instead fled, a stark difference to their usual behavior.

Party then neared Rozmakhigrad and discovered lumps in the snow that turned out to be frozen corpses scattered throughout the wastes, remenants of Rozmakhigrads brutal punishments. Party disguised themselves in the white of the wasteland and ventured out closer to the wall, sneaking easily up on the ussuspecting guards. After kidnapping one guard and giving them a vacation to the great rice paddy, they found out the layout of the city. They discovered the city is split into 5 districts, Quarry (mining and a really big pit), Rat (prison for dangerous inmates), Chicken (prison and housing for servants, lower guards, and cooperating prisoners), Phoenix (City within a city for Pthoran Guards, acts as a little Pthora), and the Port district (port and warehousing and processing of ores).

Shortly after Feare flew over the city and sketched it out, undetected due to an invisibility cloak. After that party opened a portal back and entered into Brims room.
