Plot Synopsis
They show the image and locket to the pure scale, bring back its memories, leaving it nearly powerless and close to death. He dies, taking some of Sylas’ power, with his final wish to warn Joke that he wouldn’t be there for the next poker game. They sleep, and enter Joke’s closet to fight Sylas. Big fight, Sylas reveals he is a friend of Altiel’s mother, and is poised to join her parents' relationship as a third. Second phase activates, and he turns on the machine, before splitting into two beings, mortal and immortal. Hawk enters the fight, sending an rpg at sylas. Fingers crits, rolling an instant death on sylas, but lets Altiel get the last blow in, with “stop trying to fuck my mother you motherfucker” and killing him. Hawk takes the device and the party boards an airship heading straight toward Shinneok to blow it up. Session ends when Karasu attempts to shoot Hawk point blank.
