Brain Freeze [Gilded Slumber] Game 6; Archives to Chill and Study to (Arkhivgrad, Pthora, Cahyali)

Plot Synopsis

The game started with the party arriving in East Port. Exploring the town, they found some strange things. One of the jails was worse for wear and on high alert. A government building had some less than modest depictions of Charlie von Otto on them. The party went to a nearby pub to try and gather info on how to get to Polis. It is here that Particular found his brother Distinct the Penguin. Aether and Izzu went to find a doctor. Izzu had Subacute Leyline Poisoning, which the doctor prescribed a treatment for. Meanwhile, Aether suffered from Acute Leyline Poisoning, which had a decent chance to kill her, especially given their current circumstances.

Distinct led the party though a secret tunnel utilizing dimensional magic to shorten the distance between East Port and the hidden part of Arkhivgrad. In Arkhivgrad, Sauri went to hang out at an Almar temple, Nxiya found prints for a patented Boeson Bread Betterer in the archives, and Izzu bought a 20’ long sword called The Buster. Aether, Rosse, and Particular went to further explore the archives. Rosse found a book about Nahruli monsters and learned a bit about Behemoths. Aether learned quite a bit with a fantastic skill check. She learned many things, including the name and basic layout of the Pthoran Development Lab for Research and Science (PDLRS). She also found a logbook containing the names of people coming and going for the past few months, including one Zuanshi Wei being forcefully transported between Polis and East Port. Finally, she learned some terrible news. It turns out, the Pthoran government, in an attempt to raise morale, effectively sacrificed her town in a massive lie to make Shinneok look bad. This has caused her to question a lot. With that somberness, the party went to sleep. Izzu had a nightmare about the war. Or perhaps, given their psychic abilities, it’s a premonition.
