OSiS: Ley'Ork Noire III [Gilded Slumber] (Ley'Ork, Cahyali)

Plot Synopsis

The session started with a flashback of Mr. Sims life as the building around him is destroyed due to his own hubris. He grew up in an orphanage on the outskirts of Victoria and Father Victor Nathaniel regularly beats him for various reasons (giggling while reading the ninnite bibble). He is kicked out when he is 14 so he goes to ley’ork to proselytize and is hired on the S.S. Lost hope as a navigator.
He attempts to guide the ship using his faith in Ninos but that doesn't go well. They end up in Pthoran waters and encounter some refugees who quickly flee after Mr. Sims instructs their captain to close his eyes and follow Ninos leading him to go overboard. Months later Mr. Sims ends up in the port of New Spire as the only survivor of the S.S. Lost Hope.
He is nursed back to health in a Isis temple and is given jello (gelatin made from horses). Mr. Sims asks where the souls of the damned are so he can teach them and the priest responds with “Look around you, look in the mirror, we are all damned here in ley’ork”. Mr Sims leaves and after 10 years is destitute and is trying to convert people in AA meetings. He successfully converts one Jimmy Falon. He goes by Dr. Ian in these times and founds an occult group with Jim E. Falon’s help.
Years later he is scamming people, making them believe they are being affected by paranormal activity. Jimmy Falon has become extremely fanatic in his beliefs and he realizes Mr. Sims is a sinner and he tries to kill him. He fails and Mr. Sims decides to become the most damned of them all “Ninos smites the damned so I’ll just become the most damned of them all.”
In the present day: a red liquid (wine) pours out from the rubble as 4 party members attempt to reverse rock stack the rubble over Mr. Sims. He is successfully saved while NPC first attempts to avoid a fight with a “My bad bro” before he fights Andromedus before Andromedus drops off the edge of the ship. The fight against the engineer in the mech suit is finished thanks to the heroic efforts of opening a door, casting lesser healing, and then closing the door. This saved the life of Bind Mird who finishes the fight before they flee and toss a grenade in.
They find out the device has been stolen (device XIX panoptica). Party learns the item was dredged up out of the ocean and is a piece of old dead A’tena. They find an amulet of ninos and signs of cleaned bloodstains. They find a booklet of Sylvester daevian letters to the Berns family and Vane securities telling them that the artifact has been stolen and all evidence points to the church of Ninos. “Ps. burns the plans in Victoria should continue we will have the artifact by the deadline. Activate the D.A.M.N. The institute will ready the rune panels to be shipped to Victoria.”
They steal the airship and fly it to above Phoenix Mountain investigators. They are given a newspaper by one of the handlers there from 4 days in the future about Shinneok stealing magical artifact. It also included a note asking for party to keep searching for the artifact.
