Dwarves Stranded at Sea Featuring: Dwarves at Sea, Fishing, and Combat! "Requesting immediate help! My brothers have been experimenting with new high-speed cargo ship designs when they set for sea. It's been a week past since their return deadline and are likely running out of beer! Find me at Seven Beers and a Cog by the docks in Courtsland."

Plot Synopsis

Synopsis:
The adventurers met up at Seven Beers and a Cog in Courtsland, meeting Schnitzel, the eccentric dwarf sailor/mechanic. They learned of the workshops habit of drunken engineering and how their latest ship thruster design they were testing could have failed. After exchanging greetings and drinks, the party signed up for the local annual fishing competition and embarked to find Schnitzel's stranded brothers, taking Schnitzel's recreational sailing ship the Wooden Friend.

They spent about 2 days sailing out towards Port Wulong along the path Schnitzel's brothers were taking for their experimental voyage. On the way, the party fished up a family of Giant Axolotls, which they promptly pummeled into submission and kept as pets in the bottom deck, using a bag of storage as transport. Other catches include a massive stockpile of giant tunas and some cod as well as a single oarfish.

After a while, the party sailed into dense fog, severely limiting vision. It was here where they found Schnitzel's 6 brothers and their experimental ship, which had its entire stern blown off by an engine explosion. Approaching them for rescue, a ship full of dwarf ninja pirates attacked them, boarding them by launching pirate dwarf ninjas via cannons. After dispatching the dwarf ninja pirates by burning their ship with magma, the party rescued the stranded dwarves and returned to Courtsland. The party won most the fishing competition with their massive tuna and Giant Axolotls.

Additions and Rewards:
Seven Beers and a Cog, ship work and repair shop near the sea harbor of Courtsland. Notorious for particularly dangerous ideas. The interior consists of a bar at the front and a workshop in the back with no partition in between.

Minor magic item reward was awarded to Ovada for winning first prize in the fishing competition.

Sakuyo, Reef Supreme, and Ovada are now in possession of one Giant Axolotl each. Ovada's Giant Axolotl is currently dead.
The Giant Axolotls are 17 feet long and 5 feet tall. Reef Supreme's Giant Axolotl is slightly larger at 19 feet long.
The Axolotls aren't trained, meaning they cannot be used for combat and require animal handling checks to command.
The Giant Axolotls are also not magic items.
