Newbie Campaign Intro Arc- Waking Horizon- (Co-GM Arielle) Within the Sea of Fog off the coast of Tiangchen lies an island battered by a constant storm. This storm previously made accessing the island of Kuang Feng impossible by means both physical and magical. However, the storm has recently weakened and a team of researchers decided to see what they could find. A few days later, they returned with someone missing, speaking of dark spirits attacking them. The College of Mages and Scholars, who funded this trip, is asking for adventurers to travel to the island and find the missing researcher, or what remains of them.
Plot Synopsis
The travelers get on the boat with professor Silver and learn about the missing researcher and the nature of the storm around Kuang Feng and it's connection to the ley lines. After docking, the encounter a shapeshifting spirit and engage in combat. The spirit leaves no corpse to be dissected so the party rests and goes about looking for the lost researcher. The find a note about a creature's weakness, unsure of what the creature is, and they find a visor that based on the description provided, belongs to the researcher.
