Midnight Fire: It's the start of winter in the Eastern Mountains of Vervand and the Sreapadareach tribe has been prepping for the arrival of the Winter Lord, but a feeling of unease runs throughout the town as a rumor about a group planning to fuck it up has spread. Stop it.
Plot Synopsis
The adventurers arrived in Vervand at the city of the Sreapadareach tribe on the day before the Winter Festival. After meeting with the city's mayor, a Marsaili MacDhubhaig, they went about investigating a rumor of people trying to ruin the festival's finale. After snooping around, invading a mind (of an Arenti Dwarf named Argo Montanaro,) visiting a bathhouse, and more snooping around they found a plot to mess with the central pyre and the surrounding braziers at midnight when the fires should be extinguished. As the clock approached midnight they found 5 of the 9 people plotting to keep the fire burning past when it was supposed to. After the 5 person's defeat the Braziers turned purple and 4 individuals appeared for a ritual. A claw tore it's way into the plane as a feline creature with tentacles out its tail tried to pass through but on schedule the fire of central pyre was extinguished and soon the braziers went out as some thing forces Nyarsey Devthep back into it's rift and similar to how the fires were extinguished the 4 people who conducted the ritual disappeared.
