Moonlight Blue 18, the final final session
Plot Synopsis
This was the final session of Moonlight Blue. Our heroes continued their adventure in the deep caves of Hel, where Milo came face to face with the soul of his lost friend in the form of a wraith. After purifying and freeing him, they banished the rest of the wraith with the golden lance of Nol. From here, they each faced a trial related to their past and future. Flowers blooming from blood, lighting lamps, and other various things. The end of this puzzle caused a twig of Yggdrasil to pop out into Hel, which they used to escape. This led them to the final area where At'ena's domain is, outside the top of the worldtree. Glasya/Pardis engaged At'ena and her servitors in combat, and was winning. The party tried to help, but due to their failures earlier in the campaign of not preventing Glasya from getting the artifacts they needed, she was unstoppable. After Glasya stole the souls of several of At'enas servitors, a deal was made where At'ena would give Glasya what they knew they wanted (seeing the fight was futile).
From here, Glasya went to the beneath where 3 important things happened. First, she pulled Xa'los out of the worm and killed him, thus 'officially' opening the spot for the soverign. Secondly, Glasya took the throne of the soverign and turned off all of the wellsprings of the beneath. Lastly, she summoned her father, asmodeus, to the main room, where she bashed his head in and killed him. Also preventing his future resurrections.
