Moonlight Blue 16, Finale part 1
Plot Synopsis
This was the first part of the Moonlight finale. Adventurers spent the first hour or so discussing their theories and correctly identifying who the villian was. Poet the bard who has been in and out since the beginning. They try to confront him in his tavern room, only to find he has already skipped town. The adventurers meet up with the savarre elder, who teleports them to the eye space station that they saw back on Session 6. They spend time exploring that area, Hendrick being the one who figured out they need to leap down to the eye. As they do so, the sun finally dies, collapsing in the planet behind it. Inside the eye, they find the remnant of the broken soulmonger, and a small sapling in the middle of it. They touch the sapling and are transported into the world tree that it was connected to. Inside, Glasya/Poet reveal themselves, having teleported to the party via a placed item from session 4 that Tyr had. The group attempts to engage and instantly loses 2 party members to Glasya before backing off. Glasya toys and taunts them for a while before going through a gate within the tree, saying they are going 'to the top'. Adventurers attempt to follow and fail the following skill challenge, causing them to fall from the branch down to Helheim at the base of the tree. Inside Helheim, they find remnants of multiple civilizations, and begin exploring... to be continued.
