Laetita Ad Lojem; Episode 5: The Cubiculum Chaos (Midnights Rest, Lojem, Jaern)
Plot Synopsis
The party continued into a series of rooms filled with plants, clocks, and plenty of water, with the object to destroy them all. Upon entering the absurdly bright halfway point of the dungeon, the party found the Lantern of Claritas and used it to darken the room. It also helped with a few of the challenges in other rooms, such as finding a wall of rats, or helping to ambush zombies. At the end, the party fought Erebus, a being of darkness trying to overthrow Rudri. He didn’t get a single turn as the party took him to -83 DP in the span of a singular surprise round. However, Erebus’s defeat did not remove the sun in Midnight’s Rest. Ves went off to check on the town of Lumordre, finding that the town no longer had a veil of darkness over it. The party sent the sun away, hoping to release Midnight’s Rest from the danger. Unfortunately, it may not last…
